- Who we are. The app is developed by Marco Montinari, an individual based in Italy. Contact: ciao@quadernodelprof.com. By downloading it from the App Store you also accept Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which these terms supplement.
- What the app is. A personal notebook and organiser for teachers. It is not an official school register, has no legal value as such, is not connected to any school platform, and is not a medical device. It does not calculate grades or averages, and summaries are support tools only; assessment remains the teacher’s professional decision.
- Who may use it. Adult teachers and school staff. It is not intended for students or children.
- Licence. A personal, free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, decompile or redistribute it except as permitted by law. Name, logo, the Owl mascot, artwork, texts and code belong to us or are used under licence.
- Your data and responsibilities. Your content stays only on your iPhone. You enter student data for your work under your school’s rules. Enter only what you need, no diagnoses or health data, keep the app lock on, and keep exported files (not encrypted) safe.
- Backups. Data is not included in iCloud backups. If you lose your device without an exported backup, data cannot be recovered. Export backups regularly.
- Free of charge. No ads, no in-app purchases. We may update, change or discontinue the app.
- Warranty and liability. The app is provided "as is", to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages or for data loss due to missing backups, device loss or third-party services. Nothing limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence or your mandatory consumer rights. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
- Support. ciao@quadernodelprof.com · quadernodelprof.com/supporto. Please do not send student data.
- Changes. Updated terms are published on this page with a new date.
- Governing law. Italian law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rules and courts of your country of residence remain available to you.
- Apple terms. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app, its content, product claims and any third-party IP claims. You confirm you are not in a US-embargoed country or on a US restricted-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
